About the role
As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions in a collaborative and innovative environment. Working closely with experienced engineers and mentors, you will contribute to real-world projects, refine your technical skills, and learn best practices in modern software development.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborating with engineers to design and develop software features in a cloud-based, microservices environment.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with guidance from mentors.
- Assisting in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing application performance.
- Gaining hands-on experience with React, Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and/or database technologies.
- Learning and applying best practices in software engineering, including version control, CI/CD, and testing strategies.
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to discussions on technical decisions.
- Working in an Agile development environment alongside product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Exploring emerging technologies and sharing insights with the team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming fundamentals in React, Java, JavaScript or Typescript.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience or coursework in web development, APIs, and databases (SQL or NoSQL) is a plus.
- Passion for learning and solving complex technical problems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with React, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), or DevOps tools is a plus but not required.
